One of my first projects at Transmission was a series of branded films for AXA, focused on highlighting the career journeys of their employees; what they'd done before joining the company, and what drew them into the world of insurance.
While it might sound dry on paper, the stories were anything but. From a former homicide prosecutor to someone who once captained colossal shipping vessels, the challenge was in shaping these diverse journeys into short, engaging narratives without losing the authenticity or depth that made them compelling.
Later, we delivered a similarly high-production series around cybersecurity putting real faces to the abstract threats faced by businesses and individuals. These films explored the people behind the protection, using storytelling to make the technical human.
Across both series, the goal was the same: absorb complex source material, extract the emotional and narrative core, and craft polished, natural-feeling edits that stayed true to the people at the heart of the story.
