During my time at Transmission, I worked on a series of cinematic spots and social edits for Omaze UK - campaigns built to showcase high end properties and drive buzz for their charity prize draws. These projects combined aspirational visuals with fast-turnaround deliverables across TV, digital, and social formats.
The edits often looked deceptively simple, but the reality was a careful dance of brand guidelines, shot selection, VFX comping, and occasional reshoots — all to present multi-million-pound homes at their absolute best while staying true to Omaze’s luxury lifestyle aesthetic.
We regularly delivered 90s, 30s, and 10s cutdowns with regional and time-based variations. This required tight project management, collaboration with external freelancers, and liaising with in-house and client teams. All UK TVC work also had to pass legal compliance via Clearcast and be delivered through Peach.
For social content, we had more creative freedom — often producing celebrity skits and custom edits featuring charity ambassadors like Olivia Colman, David Bradley, and Rylan.
My favourite projects, though, were the winner and charity reveal films. These gave us the chance to shift gears and lean into storytellingp; capturing raw emotion, from disbelief and joy to heartfelt reflections on how life-changing the prize money would be for both the recipients and the charities involved.
