Credited as Post Production Supervisor on Ravers, I ended up owning the entire post process end to end — in practice acting as post producer as well, since the production didn't have one.
That meant setting up DIT and on-set/assistant editing during the shoot, including LTO backup and transport back to our London post facility, then running post from assembly through to final delivery for cinema and festival play. I oversaw more than 100 VFX shots from external vendors, contributed some VFX work myself, and worked closely with sound and grade through to final assembly. I also oversaw the trailer edit, and ran regular screenings and feedback sessions with the executive producers to keep the film on track creatively through the edit.
It's the project that taught me most of what "post producer" actually means in practice — long before I had the title.
